With the elections coming up in Andhra Pradesh from April 16th, Lok Satta party is looking for volunteers who will act as booth agents.  There is high need for volunteers.  I feel, we can make things go well and avoid many mischievous things happen during polling.  There is high need for volunteers for the regions  Begumpet, Old Bowenpally, Fatenagar, Balanagar, Moti Nagar, Moosapet & KPHB.

The essential task of a polling booth agent is to verify that the person who has come to vote is a registered voter.  You may be also required to do tasks like doing some announcements, help or resolve doubts or sit inside pooling booth and verify voter ids. A training session is likely to be conducted about the duties of the polling booth agent.

Saw this funny video in YouTube and thought of posting it here.  A young man struggles against the pressure to Twitter his life away.

Is Social Media all about peer pressure? Do we really care about what a person sitting in San Francisco is having for his lunch?

For me personally, 80% is peer pressure and 10% is the ‘me too’ phenomenon and the final 10% is where I use Twitter at its best. I use it to follow about various topics like Cricket, Google Analytics, Domain names and so on… Now the question is whether this 10% will offset the remaining 90% of usage ???
